Under One Roof er en fortsettelse av dybwikdans sitt prosjekt "Journey in private houses" som ble gjennomført i Norge og England våren 2011. Prosjektet utforsker det private hjem som en arena for kunstopplevelse. Under One Roof vil bli gjennomført i Stavanger 10. desember 2011 kl. 20.00.

"Since 1997 dybwikdans has used public space as an arena for choreographic exploration. Within this public arena, the site-specific focus of the projects has incorporated improvised and devised choreographic encounters. Reflecting on the dancing body in site-specific projects, has given a strong sense of the powerful, communicative relationship between the dancing body and both natural and architectural landscapes, with this invested relationship often building alternative identities of place. In the project “Under one roof”, dybwikdans proposes a new arena in which to research the identity of site. The project is a preliminary investigation in this new field. By invitation, “Under one roof” is an improvisational exploration for a solo dancer, who will journey and encounter the house as site. Again the focus of the explorative process will be to rewrite the identity of the private space of the house, encouraging both the dancer and observer to imbue the house-site with an alternative vision."
